Court hearings have been suspended today and tomorrow (Apr 1-2), the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry announced.
In the statement, the ministry explained that the measure is aimed “to ensure the soundness of procedures and the smooth running of operations.”
Court sessions are set to re-commence on Sunday (Apr 5). Hearings in civil, commercial, labour and Sharia courts will all be adjourned until that date.
This decision has been issued in co-ordination with the Supreme Judicial Council, the statement added.
