Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani met the teams involved in facilitating the repatriation of Bahraini citizens who were in countries affected by current events.
Foreign Ministri chief of consular services Ambassador Ibrahim Al Muslimani expressed appreciation for the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and the instructions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to exert all efforts to evacuate Bahraini citizens who were in affected countries and wished to return, and to ensure their safe and secure return.
He noted that the efforts of the teams, in co-operation with all relevant official authorities and institutions, as well as the support of embassies of GCC countries and Bahrain’s embassies abroad, resulted in the successful repatriation of all Bahraini citizens who wished to come back.

Dr Al Zayani commended the efforts made by the teams in facilitating the repatriation of citizens abroad and ensuring their safe arrival in the kingdom, in co-ordination with all relevant authorities.
The Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for the teams’ readiness, organised performance, and dedication in fulfilling their assigned tasks. He encouraged the continuation of this positive and diligent approach to achieve the objectives of Bahrain’s foreign policy, which prioritises the interests, security, and safety of citizens, particularly in times of emergency and crisis.
Dr Al Zayani further expressed appreciation for the constructive co-operation and co-ordination with GCC, other Arab states, and Turkmenistan, as well as the support and assistance provided during these circumstances. He also acknowledged the positive role of Bahrain’s embassies abroad, which contributed significantly to the safe return of all citizens. He concluded by wishing everyone continued success in serving the kingdom and its citizens.
