BBK, a leading retail and corporate bank in Bahrain, has been named the ‘Best Retail Bank in Bahrain for 2025’ by Global Banking and Finance Review Magazine.
The award recognises the bank’s performance in financial stability, innovation, and sustainability. This is the third consecutive year BBK has received a ‘Best Retail Bank’ award, following similar recognitions in 2023 and 2024 from World Economic Magazine.
The judging panel praised BBK for its advanced digital platforms, innovative products, and commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.

Mr Alsharifi added that the upcoming transfer of HSBC Middle East’s Bahrain retail banking operations to BBK further underscores the bank’s leadership position.
