A recent incident has highlighted Dubai Police’s commitment to service. After an Indian YouTuber lost his phone at Dubai International Airport, authorities not only found it but also returned it to him in India for free.
Madan Gowri, a YouTuber from Tamil Nadu, reportedly lost his phone sometime last week.
Like most people who lose their phones, Gowri initially lost all hope of getting his back. As a last-ditch effort, he informed Emirates staff about the lost phone before boarding his flight back to Chennai. The staff asked him to email them the details of the device.
To his surprise, once he arrived back in Chennai, he received an email confirming the phone had been found.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, Gowri said that Dubai Police and Emirates then arranged for the phone to be returned to him in Chennai for free on the next available flight.
The YouTuber thanked Dubai Police and Emirates in the video, which has since gone viral, garnering over 3 million views and more than 300,000 likes.
Social media users who saw the video praised the swiftness of the Dubai Police.
