Police in Oulad Teima, Morocco, arrested three people on Monday for theft and involvement in sorcery. The suspects include a 45-year-old woman and two men, aged 19 and 22.
The men broke into the woman's home and stole more than 600,000 dirhams (BD 61,000).
As they were surrounded and unable to escape, the suspects attempted to create a diversion by throwing bundles of cash from the rooftop, hoping to distract onlookers and create an escape route.
During the investigation, police discovered various liquids, photographs, and tools associated with sorcery in the woman's house. The stolen money is believed to be connected to this activity.
All three suspects are currently in police custody while the investigation continues.
