Government Hospitals chief executive officer Dr Mariam Al Jalahma yesterday inaugurated the Short-Stay Surgery Unit at the Dermatology Department of Salmaniya Medical Complex.
The new unit is designed to provide services for patients requiring minor surgical and therapeutic procedures that do not necessitate overnight admission, thereby improving patient experience and enhancing the quality of healthcare services .
