His Mjaesty King Hamad received a cable of thanks from Bahrain Chamber chairman Nabeel Kanoo.
Mr Kanoo conveyed, on behalf of himself and the board of directors and the business community in Bahrain, his sincere appreciation and gratitude for meeting the King and for His Majesty’s directives and vision.
The chairman commended His Majesty’s emphasis on the role of the Chamber in supporting and developing the commercial and industrial sectors, describing it as a national responsibility that requires further effort to strengthen the Chamber’s role as a key partner in economic development and decision-making in Bahrain.
He also valued the King’s recognition of the Chamber’s longstanding role since its establishment and its contributions to the national economy, affirming their commitment to building on this legacy and continuing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy and support sustainable development.
Mr Kanoo expressed his gratitude for His Majesty’s continued support to the business community and commitment to strengthening its role in development plans. He also expressed appreciation for the royal directives to compensate citizens for damage to their property, describing this as a humanitarian approach that reflects His Majesty’s commitment to protecting citizens’ rights and easing the impact of challenges, while maintaining public confidence and stability.
The chairman also thanked His Majesty for supporting economic initiatives that contribute to labour market stability and strengthen the national economy, particularly support for Bahraini salaries in the private sector, liquidity support programmes, and loan deferrals, which have helped the private sector continue its role in development and job creation.
He wished Bahrain continued security, stability, progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty.
