His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the importance of building on bilateral partnership to create opportunities that will support the relationship between Bahrain and Japan.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met Japanese Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace yesterday, as part of his official visit to Japan.
He highlighted that relations between Bahrain and Japan continue to advance towards a strategic partnership that aims to meet shared aspirations across various fields, in line with the support of both His Majesty King Hamad and Emperor Naruhito.
HRH Prince Salman extended the greetings of His Majesty to the Emperor, and the King’s wishes for further progress and prosperity for Japan.
In response, Emperor Naruhito conveyed his greetings to His Majesty and his wishes for further progress and prosperity to the kingdom of Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended Japan’s advancement in various sectors, expressing his appreciation for the significant efforts it made in hosting and organising Expo 2025 Osaka. He offered his best wishes to Japan for success in achieving the Expo’s objectives.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the existing avenues of co-operation between both countries and explored opportunities to strengthen and expand them further.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
