US President Donald Trump was seen shaking hands with Elon Musk during a memorial for conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Sunday.
This marked the first time they had made a public appearance together since their highly publicised feud earlier this year.

The White House and Elon Musk later shared images of their interaction on X, with both accounts captioning the post, “For Charlie.”
The feud began after Musk, who had spent over a quarter of a billion dollars to help Trump's November presidential election campaign, made a sudden exit from the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) which he was leading. This was followed by his criticism of Trump's tax cut and spending bill, which he called an "abomination," a comment that drew the President’s anger.
In response, Trump threatened to cancel billions of dollars' worth of federal contracts with Musk's companies.
