The UAE led a global operation against online child exploitation that resulted in the arrest of 188 suspects, the rescue of 165 children, and the dismantling of 28 major criminal networks.
The operation was spearheaded by the Interior Ministry in co-ordination with law enforcement agencies from 14 countries, including Russia, Indonesia, Belarus, Serbia, Colombia, Thailand, Nepal, Peru, Brazil, the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Ecuador, the Maldives, and Uzbekistan.
The campaign also successfully disrupted numerous online accounts used for these crimes against children.
