Al Noor International School has attained one of the highest honours in Bahrain’s education sector – the distinguished Gold Seal from the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA).
This recognition officially classifies the school as ‘Outstanding’, a status formally endorsed by the Cabinet.
The award ceremony took place in the presence of senior dignitaries, including Education Ministry Under-Secretary Nawal Al Khater and Education and Training Quality Authority chief executive Dr Maryam Hassan Mustafa.
The milestone stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the school’s leadership, educators and students.
The Gold Seal was presented to the school’s Founder and Chairman Ali Hassan following the BQA’s rigorous review conducted in February 2025.
Mr Ali Hassan emphasised that the honour is a reflection of the perseverance and professionalism of Al Noor’s teaching and administrative teams.
He extended heartfelt appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad for his steadfast support of education, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his visionary leadership and continued guidance in shaping the Kingdom’s educational advancement.
Mr Ali Hassan further acknowledged the pivotal role of the Education Ministry, under the leadership of Education Minister Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, in steering the Kingdom’s education system towards innovation, excellence and alignment with Bahrain’s national aspirations.
Echoing this sentiment, director Dr Muhammad Mashood remarked, “This achievement is the outcome of years of collaboration and a collective commitment to excellence.”
He further emphasised that such milestones are only possible when vision, dedication and teamwork come together with purpose.
Principal Abdul Rahman Al Koheji delivered the welcome address.
He extended gratitude to the Education Ministry and BQA for their continuous support in advancing education in Bahrain.
He further highlighted that this recognition marks not an endpoint, but the beginning of a renewed journey towards greater innovation, distinction and impact.
Adding to the celebratory spirit, students welcomed guests in multiple languages: Limar Ammar in Arabic, Ahmed Abdul Rahim in English and Mohammed Waseem in French, a gesture reflecting the school’s global outlook and cultural diversity.
The event concluded with a commemorative photo session.
This landmark recognition reaffirms Al Noor International School’s role as a pioneering institution in Bahrain – one that continues to embody quality, leadership and innovation, while confidently charting a course towards a future of continued success and educational distinction.
Al Noor International School is committed to being the leading international, tri-curricular (British, Arabic and Indian) and multicultural private school in Bahrain, providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to gain admission to the tertiary institution of their choice and empowering them to contribute meaningfully at both national and global levels.
