THE International Downstream Conference and Exhibition 2025 (IDCE 2025) is set to return to Bahrain, hosted by Aramco, from Tuesday to Thursday. This third edition will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Led by the Gulf Downstream Association (GDA), the driving force for regional collaboration, IDCE 2025 will champion industry development, expertise sharing, and investment across the Gulf’s refining, petrochemicals, and sustainability sectors. The event is a collective effort, representing five Gulf nations: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and the UAE, and aims to unlock participation in over $100 billion in investment opportunities.
The 2025 event boasts an impressive roster of sponsors and partners, underscoring its regional and global significance. Aramco serves as the host sponsor, with Sabic and Bapco Energies as strategic sponsors.
Diamond sponsors include industry giants such as KPC, OQ, S-OIL, Arabian Fal, Sasref, Satorp, and Adnoc. Al Haddad Motors joins as the ‘Platinum’ automotive partner.
As the region’s premier platform for downstream industries, the IDCE 2025 Conference will feature a robust agenda with more than 290 expert speakers across 130+ sessions.
Discussions will tackle the most critical themes shaping the global downstream sector, from macro, geopolitics and regulations to decarbonisation, digitalisation and innovation, and the downstream value chain.
With S&P Global Commodity Insights serving as the knowledge partner, attendees will gain access to strategic insights and forward-looking perspectives vital for driving innovation in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
A dedicated initiative, Youth Pulse, will provide a platform for students and young professionals. It will offer opportunities to engage with industry leaders, participate in Youth Hub sessions, explore career pathways, and gain hands-on experience with real-world case studies and emerging technologies.
The IDCE 2025 Exhibition will gather over 150 top-tier companies and more than 9,500 industry leaders, solution providers, and decision-makers from 53 countries. This pivotal platform facilitates global connection, project collaboration, and the exploration of crucial investment opportunities, firmly establishing IDCE 2025 as a leading regional downstream event.
