The strength of the close and longstanding relations between Bahrain and the UAE was reaffirmed as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received UAE ambassador Fahad Mohammed Salem Kardous Alameri at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the depth of Bahrain-UAE relations, underpinned by a longstanding partnership supported by His Majesty King Hamad and UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He further recognised the generous initiatives of Shaikh Mohammed which reflect his sincere regard for Bahrain.
Shaikh Mohammed’s unwavering support has consistently contributed to Bahrain’s ongoing progress, he said.
HRH Prince Salman affirmed that the chivalry, loyalty, and authentic Arab generosity demonstrated by Shaikh Mohammed, together with his nobility and sincerity in his positions, embody the depth of the longstanding bilateral relations that bind the two countries.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister added that this strong bond stands as a model of solidarity, co-operation, and mutual support between both nations.
He noted that relations between the two countries are founded on a rich history of shared experiences and guided by shared aspirations for continued prosperity and growth for both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest were discussed.
The ambassador expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s commitment to further enhancing Bahrain-UAE relations, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
