FREE medical check-ups, a walkathon and art workshops will take place this month as part of Enma Mall’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
This year’s initiative offers a diverse line-up of activities and events for the community aimed to raise awareness about the disease and emphasise the importance of early detection and prevention.
Highlights include a walkathon on October 17 in support of patients and survivors and the Pink Ride on October 24, featuring a motorbike parade by local awareness-driven groups. A classic bike display will follow on October 25.
From October 9 to 25, visitors can benefit from free medical check-ups and consultations on weekends, offered in collaboration with local healthcare providers. In addition, families can also enjoy daily arts and crafts workshops until October 31, making this campaign both informative and fun for all ages.
“We are proud to launch the ‘Pink October’ campaign for the sixth consecutive year at Enma Mall, as part of our belief in the vital role community-focused institutions play in promoting health awareness,” said Enma Mall management representative Mark Gravener.
“Our goal is to ensure the campaign is inclusive of all age groups, combining education, entertainment and emotional support.
“We extend our sincere thanks to all healthcare partners, sponsors and participants who have contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative.”
He added that Enma Mall, strategically located near schools, mosques, hospitals and sports centres, remains committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for families while prioritising community health through continuous year-round initiatives.
