Bahraini lifter Ingrid Vanesa Segura Grueso has bagged three medals in the women’s 69kg category at the 2025 IWF World Championships, currently taking place in Forde, Norway.
Grueso captured a silver medal tonight for clean and jerk and also took bronze for both snatch and total.
The 19-year-old was joined in her podium ceremony by Bahrain Weightlifting Federation president Eshaq Ebrahim Eshaq.
Grueso is one of two Bahrainis competing in this year's world championships. The other is Paris 2024 Olympics bronze-medallist Gor Minasyan, who is in action on Saturday in the men’s over-110kg division.
