Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Capital Governor Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa in the presence of GSA CEO Dr Abdulrahman Askar and Capital Secretariat director general Engineer Mohamed Saad Al Sahli.
Shaikh Khalid commended the role of the Capital Governorate in developing public facilities and infrastructure, noting that cooperation between the Capital Governorate and the sports sector is key to supporting major sporting events hosted by the kingdom and strengthening Bahrain’s position as a leading sports destination.
On his part, Shaikh Khalid bin Humood expressed appreciation for Shaikh Khalid’s continuous support for youth and sports initiatives.
