As part of this year’s National Tree Week (NTW), His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, directed the establishment of the Innovation Competition in Irrigation Solutions, aimed at strengthening the utilisation of excess treated water across agriculture and afforestation initiatives. Marking the week, HRH Prince Salman also planted a new tree and watered the tree he had planted during last year’s launch of NTW .
