Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda took part in the 35th meeting of GCC Justice Ministers in Kuwait.
The meeting discussed a topics aimed at developing judicial and legal co-operation among GCC countries.
Key items included a proposal to establish an electronic platform for linking judicial announcements and notifications between member states, and the preparation of a unified policy to strengthen co-operation among the Justice Ministries in the GCC.
The meeting also reviewed the draft unified rules to combat discrimination, hate speech, and contempt of religions and beliefs, as well as the draft unified rules to combat cybercrimes in the GCC countries.
The meeting also discussed reports related to preparatory meetings, including the meeting of directors and heads of legal and judicial training centres and institutes in the GCC, and the meeting of officials in international co-operation and foreign relations departments of the Justice Ministries of GCC states.
