His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), as well as members of the Kingdom’s Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka.
The meeting followed the Bahrain Pavilion, “Connecting Seas,” winning the Gold Award presented by the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) under the ‘Self-Built Pavilions’ category for Architecture and Landscape at Expo 2025.
His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the members of the Kingdom’s Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka, noting that their commitment to excellence reflects the values of Team Bahrain.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also underscored the significance of such achievements in enhancing the Kingdom’s presence on the international stage and strengthening its global reputation.
His Royal Highness reiterated that the tireless efforts and determination of Bahraini citizens have played an important role in delivering achievements and towards the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to contributing innovative solutions to global challenges, while inspiring future generations to sustain the Kingdom’s journey.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the Kingdom’s accomplishments in architectural creativity, innovation, design, and sustainability, highlighting its growing competitiveness and influence across these fields.
His Royal Highness further noted that the Kingdom takes pride in its rich national heritage, which embodies its identity and is showcased through international participation that builds bridges between different cultures.
For his part, His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa expressed his pride in the Kingdom’s milestones and its international recognition under the leadership of His Majesty the King, which continues to reinforce Bahrain’s global standing.
His Excellency also extended his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his continued support of the culture and antiquities sector.
His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
