His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has commended the pivotal role of the US, alongside its allies, in upholding regional and global security, stability and development.
In this regard, he reaffirmed Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, a vital step that would benefit both the Palestinian people and the wider region.
HRH Prince Salman made the remarks as he yesterday met US Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria Thomas J Barrack, on the sidelines of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
He affirmed the historic and deep-rooted Bahrain-US relationship, which continues to advance across multiple sectors, supported by a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral co-operation in pursuit of mutual interests.
He emphasised the importance of further enhancing collaboration between the two countries, particularly within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), which serves as a cornerstone for deeper co-operation.
Issues of common interest and the latest regional and global developments were also discussed during the meeting.
National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
