Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, continues to advance its steadfast approach towards further strengthening joint Arab Action and collaboration, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, has said.
This came as he met yesterday King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) chairman Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with several senior delegates from the GCC and Arab countries participating in the Manama Dialogue 2025.
He noted that such co-operation ensures Arab countries’ continued diligence in addressing regional and international developments, while meeting the aspirations of its peoples for further progress and prosperity.
He highlighted the importance of building on past achievements to strengthen joint Arab action and enhance co-ordination in support of regional security, stability and sustainable development.
HRH Prince Salman reiterated the importance of regional security, outlining the Council’s critical role in safeguarding the region and advancing global economic growth.
He commended the efforts of allied nations to collectively strengthen regional and international security and stability.
He noted the depth of the historical ties between Bahrain and the Arab countries, founded upon shared history and values. He underscored that the Arab countries’ solidarity and cohesion in addressing current challenges reflect the strength of its institutional framework and unity.
During the meeting, several topics of common interest as well as issues relating to the Manama Dialogue 2025 were discussed.
Prince Turki and the senior delegates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH Prince Salman and commended Bahrain’s continued success in hosting this important international security forum.
