Two departments of the Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) won prestigious awards at a major event held in Dubai.
Both the obstetrics and gynaecology (OBGYN), and the urology departments, won the ‘Centre of Excellence’ distinction at the Economic Times Healthcare Leadership Awards – Middle East 2025 last month.
The awards celebrate innovation, excellence and leadership in regional healthcare and honours contributions towards improving patient outcomes, enhancing experiences and advancing the industry.
‘The Centre of Excellence-Urology’ award recognises hospitals that excel in providing advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive treatments for patients with urological conditions and surgical needs.
Meanwhile, ‘The Centre of Excellence - OBGYN’ award celebrates institutions that demonstrate excellence in maternal, foetal and gynaecological care, with a focus on safety and patient-centred experiences for women across all stages of life.
“These awards are a reflection of our team’s commitment to clinical expertise, technology, patient safety, quality and patient experience outcomes,” Kimshealth Group chief executive officer Dr Sheriff Sahadulla said.
