His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday attended the closing ceremony of the Royal Bahrain Concours, held at the Royal Golf Club.
He outlined that Bahrain’s continued success in organising and hosting major global events reflects the strength of the kingdom’s tourism sector, its advanced infrastructure and its highly skilled national workforce, who continue to deliver with professionalism and excellence.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain remains committed to advancing initiatives that attract world-class international events, reinforcing its standing as a leading tourism destination and hub for hosting key fixtures, in line with the comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that the success of the inaugural Royal Bahrain Concours reflects Bahrain’s competitiveness and capability in hosting world-class events.
This success also further strengthens the kingdom’s reputation as a destination for automotive enthusiasts.
HRH Prince Salman attributed Bahrain’s achievements across all sectors to the kingdom’s dedicated national workforce, whose determination and passion for delivering to the highest of standards reflect the professionalism that defines Team Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the progress and prosperity of Bahrain’s tourism sector, driven by the implementation of programmes aimed at enhancing its contribution to the national economy and achieving the kingdom’s sustainable development goals.
He expressed appreciation to all those involved in organising the event, wishing them continued success in achieving their goals, and congratulated the winners of the Royal Bahrain Concours.
During the ceremony, HRH Prince Salman presented the Crown Prince of Bahrain Award to Prince Faisal A Al Faisal, from Saudi Arabia, owner of the 2008 Ferrari Zagato Nibbio.
He also presented the Best of Show award to Dr Khalid M Abdulrahim, from Bahrain, the owner of the 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV – Ex Shah of Iran.
Awards were also presented to winners across the various categories, as well as to the sponsoring companies and the organising committee.
Several senior officials were also in attendance.
