Bahrain’s Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa has affirmed the kingdom’s firm commitment to supporting peace and stability in the region, promoting international co-operation and serving as a trusted regional partner.
He highlighted the close relations with the US, particularly in defence, security, economy and technology.
The ambassador also underlined ongoing co-ordination to support regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security, peace and prosperity during his participation in the Washington Prosperity Summit.
The event was organised by the Polaris National Security Foundation in partnership with the N7 Initiative.
Members of the current US administration, bipartisan legislators, foreign officials and senior business executives from the US and the Middle East participated.
Shaikh Abdulla pointed to the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) as a milestone in Bahrain-US relations.
Shaikh Abdulla added that the United Kingdom’s accession to the agreement reflects the depth and expansion of strategic alliances within a comprehensive vision to strengthen security and stability in the region.
