A fire at a perfume depot in northwestern Türkiye killed six people on Saturday (November 8) and injured one, officials said.
The blaze broke out at around 9:00 a.m. (0600 GMT) in the Dilovasi district of Kocaeli province and was brought under control within about an hour after emergency teams were dispatched, the governor's office said.

Governor Ilhami Aktas told reporters that six people had died and one person was being treated for injuries. He said the cause of the fire was not immediately known, and authorities had launched an investigation.
An eyewitness said he heard an explosion and saw a person on fire.
