FOOTBALL – AL Ma’ameer Club continued their outstanding form in the 22nd Kingdom Golden Generation U-17 Youth Centres Championship, organised by the Empowerment Youth Centre in Al Sehla in cooperation with the Abu Quwah and Al Hoora and Gudaibiya Youth Centers.
The team registered a massive 10-0 victory over Al Qadisiya – their third consecutive win – to officially secure qualification for the next round as the second team to advance, maintaining a perfect record so far.
Al Ma’ameer’s forward Mahmood Adel was the star of the show, netting four goals for a super hat-trick. The remaining goals came through Mohamed Adel, Hassan Ali Jassim, Ibrahim Abdulzahra, Ali Hussain, Isa Nabeel, and Abbas Mohamed.
The tournament continues today with two Group B fixtures: Karrana versus Samaheej at 4.15pm, followed by Karzakan versus Al Shakhoura at 6pm.
Heading into this evening’s fixtures, Ma’ameer leads Group A with nine points from three games, followed by Abu Quwah, Shakhoura, and Karzakan with three points each from two matches, while Qadisiya remains without points from three.
In Group B, Al Sehla North tops the standings with seven points from three matches, Al Hoora and Gudaibiya follow with four, Al Sanabis has three, Karrana two, and Samaheej none – with the latter three teams having played two matches each.
