TABLE TENNIS – The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) received the kingdom’s national table tennis team upon their return from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where they participated in the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games.
BOC sports project management director Lounes Madene and BOC public relations specialist Khaled Haji were on hand to welcome the paddlers at Bahrain International Airport.
Amongst the returning delegation were Kenda Mohamed and Rashed Rashed, who bagged the bronze medals in the Games’ mixed doubles competition.
Amongst Bahrain’s other athletes were Hessa Althani and Dana Alkhayyat in the women’s events, and Mohamed Saleh and Sayed Mahfoodh in the men’s.
