Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, has been awarded ‘Power Generation Project of the Year-Bahrain’ for its Power Stations 5 (PS5) Block 4 at the 2025 MEED Projects Awards, reaffirming its leadership in sustainable industrial energy solutions.
Alba’s chief power officer Amin Sultan and acting manager PS5 power maintenance Sayed Amer accepted the award on the company’s behalf during the awards’ ceremony in Dubai, held in association with Mashreq .
