Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Advisor Turki Alalshikh visited Alhisn Big Time Studios and Qiddiya studios yesterday to review progress on the historical film depicting the life of the highly regarded Companion Khalid bin Al-Walid.
The film is considered one of the largest Arab productions in the cinematic industry and is being developed under the patronage of GEA and Riyadh Season.
The project spans more than a year of preparation, including the construction of large-scale sets, the development of battle locations, and the design of combat sequences, as well as the creation of precise visual elements that authentically reflect the film’s historical setting.
The film represents one of the most significant cinematic projects being produced in the Kingdom, reflecting the rapid advancement of the Saudi film industry and the rising standards of Arab productions toward greater professionalism and quality.
