Scattered rainfall was reported across several parts of the kingdom yesterday.
According to the Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, the showers moved in from a northeasterly direction, originating in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
Rain is expected to continue today, with temperatures ranging between 19C and 25C and wind speeds possibly reaching up to 17 knots.
Ministries and other government agencies have advised citizens and residents to remain cautious by ensuring that rainwater drainage systems at home are clear and unobstructed, and that roofs are properly insulated to prevent leaks.
In case of emergency, people are requested to contact the relevant authority.
