Perma-Pipe International Holdings, a global leader in pre-insulated piping and leak detection systems for oil and gas, district heating and cooling, said it had secured several key projects in the Middle East and North Africa, strengthening its position in the region as demand rises for energy-efficient infrastructure.
The company said the awards include major district heating and cooling (DHC) projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, supporting large-scale urban developments and efficiency-focused initiatives.
Adham Sharkawi, the Senior Vice President for Mena, said the company’s regional performance reflects its localisation strategy and commitment to supporting development goals.
"The DHC project awards in the UAE and Saudi Arabia demonstrate growing demand for efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions,” he said, adding that the company’s regional presence enables it to provide in-country support.
In North America, the company said investment in artificial intelligence and data centre infrastructure continues to grow rapidly, "Our participation in major data centre projects, along with key awards such as the National Research Laboratories and Marathon project, highlights our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions," said Marc Huber, the Senior Vice President for North America.
On the contract award, CEO Saleh Sagr said the latest project wins underscore demand across both traditional energy infrastructure and newer applications such as AI-driven data centres.
"We are seeing increasing demand across both traditional energy infrastructure and next-generation applications. Our ability to respond with engineering expertise, manufacturing capacity and localised capabilities positions us well to capture these opportunities, stated Sagr.
The company’s performance in the first quarter to date underscores strong demand for its engineered piping systems across sectors where performance, reliability, and safety are critical.
Growth in AI-driven infrastructure, combined with ongoing investments in energy, utilities, and district cooling systems in the Middle East, continues to support a robust pipeline of opportunities, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
