A proposed amendment to Parliament’s internal regulations, extending the deadline for submitting its final accounts, will be debated by the Shura Council on Sunday.The draft law amends Article (219) of Decree-Law No (54) of 2002, granting Parliament’s General Secretariat up to three months – instead of one – to prepare and submit its audited final accounts following the end of the financial year .
