Preparations are underway for the seventh annual forum of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat).
The two-day forum will be held from Monday under the theme, ‘The Arab Research Centres Consortium for Sustainability and Development’, in partnership with the Arab League General Secretariat.
It will bring together senior representatives from Arab states and leading research centres, and will coincide with the official launch of the documentary publication, Bahrain and the League of Arab States: 1971-–2025, in the presence of the League Secretary-General and a high-level delegation.
Derasat chief executive officer Abdulla Alahmed said the forum reflects Bahrain’s leading role in promoting knowledge and scientific research as drivers of effective development policies and support for the Sustainable Development Goals.
