In line with the Royal Directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reflecting his vision for comprehensive development with citizens at its core, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today ordered the Ministry of Social Development to increase financial support for low-income families through the cost-of-living allowance, effective from January 2026.
This decision aligns with His Royal Highness’s commitment to develop social services and strengthen welfare programmes for low-income households, in line with the government’s workstreams priorities to enhance living standards and support citizens .
