Five tourism establishments have been shut down by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) after multiple violations were detected.
The authority confirmed that administrative and legal procedures are underway against these establishments.
BTEA emphasised that these actions are part of its ongoing efforts to regulate the tourism sector, uphold service quality standards, and ensure compliance with approved requirements.
It added that inspection visits and regular monitoring campaigns will continue to verify adherence to laws and regulations across the kingdom.
The authority reiterated its commitment to supporting the tourism sector, strengthening oversight, and enhancing Bahrain’s position as a leading tourist destination.
