A local tour operator specialising in boating trips into the Arabian Sea captured the moment on video, sharing footage on social media of the magnificent "killer whales" breaking through the water's surface.
While Oman is famous for its vibrant marine life, including various species of dolphins and whales, orcas are not regular inhabitants of these waters.
