An Iraqi man has been arrested in Baghdad after allegedly stealing a vehicle while posing as a potential buyer.
The incident began when the victim posted an advertisement for his Dodge Charger on social media. The suspect contacted the owner, expressing interest in the purchase, and the two arranged a meeting for a vehicle inspection.
During the meeting, the suspect asked to examine the car. However, as soon as he got behind the wheel, he sped away, leaving the owner stranded.
The owner immediately reported the theft to the authorities. Following a swift investigation, police tracked down the stolen vehicle and apprehended the suspect. He subsequently confessed to the robbery.
