The Supreme Administrative Court of Appeals upheld a ruling requiring a hotel company to pay BD22,000 to the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry in groundwater consumption bills from the Dammam Aquifer over a four-year period.
The ministry filed the lawsuit, stating that it had notified the company of the commencement of applying the official tariff on groundwater consumption from the Dammam Aquifer to factory owners, companies, hotels and similar entities, and that all relevant bills had been sent to the company .
