The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) said it has conducted more than 13,000 inspection visits over the past year and communicated with more than 98,000 beneficiaries during and after the end of the support period. It affirmed its ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of private sector institutions, adding that it continues to carry out inspection visits to entities benefiting from its various programmes.
Tamkeen said it has recovered support funds from several companies found in violation of the terms, conditions, and contracts of its various programmes. The value of the recovered money in some of these violations exceeded BD220,000, reflecting the fund’s commitment to the principles of transparency and accountability.
