BMMI has recently announced its renewed support for Shamsaha, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to providing 24/7 empowerment and crisis-response services for women and families in Bahrain and across the region.
As part of BMMI’s ongoing commitment to making a difference, social responsibility and community wellbeing, this contribution will help advance Shamsaha’s efforts to deliver confidential, multilingual assistance – ensuring that individuals facing crisis have access to protection, resources and compassionate care at any time.
A sponsorship handover ceremony was recently held, attended by BMMI chief executive officer Renato Juric and Shamsaha chief executive Dr Mary-Justine Todd. Also present were Shamsaha sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) case co-ordinator Aysha Sharif and BMMI corporate communications and corporate social responsibility (CSR) manager/board secretary May Almousawi and BMMI senior communications specialist Mohamed Algarf.
Mr Juric reaffirmed the company’s commitment to meaningful and sustainable community partnerships, adding: “At BMMI, we are committed to our promise of always ‘Making a Difference’. We truly believe in supporting initiatives that uplift and empower individuals and families.
“Shamsaha plays a vital role in providing accessible, lifesaving support services to those in need, and we are proud to contribute to their mission over the years.”
Dr Todd expressed her gratitude for the continued collaboration: “BMMI’s continuous support makes a direct and powerful impact on the lives of women and families across Bahrain,” she said. “Partnerships like this strengthen our ability to respond quickly, compassionately and confidentially when people need us most.”
