Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee for development and infrastructure projects.
It discussed the latest updates on the implementation of strategic road sector projects in line with the approved timetable as well as the project to update the traffic flow improvement strategy, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the road network and improving traffic movement.
Proposals to strengthen maintenance procedures for road markings and guidance on signage on streets and main roads were also reviewed.
The committee discussed progress on the development of infrastructure project licensing systems and related procedures.
