A session on the role of diplomatic missions in promoting the Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment was held as part of the Diplomatic Forum yesterday.
The forum was organised by the Foreign Ministry to mark Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day.
The session was attended by heads of Bahraini diplomatic and consular missions abroad and ministry officials.
Supreme Council for Women secretary general Lulwa Al Awadhi commended the ministry and Bahrain’s mission in New York for their support in launching the third edition of the award on the sidelines of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
