Asia Motors, a division of Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), recently hosted an exclusive Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) Customer Meet and the official launch of the all-new JMC Vigus pickup at the Royal Saray Resort, Seef.
The event brought together valued customers, and distinguished guests, including Chinese Ambassador Ni Ruchi, YKA Group chairman Mohammed Almoayyed, YKA managing director Mona Almoayyed, board members Amal Almoayyed, Abeer T Almoayed and Amel T Almoayed, Almoayyed family members and JMC senior leadership led by Middle East & Africa country manager Wayne Wang to celebrate the growing presence of JMC in Bahrain and to unveil JMC’s latest generation pickup.
The evening marked a significant milestone in the partnership between Asia Motors and JMC, one of China’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers.

“Since JMC’s introduction to the Bahrain market in 2024, JMC has gained strong acceptance among corporate and fleet customers, establishing itself as a reliable partner for everyday business operations across the kingdom,” the companies said in a joint statement.
JMC is a leading Chinese vehicle manufacturer. Known for its robust design and durability, the marque’s vehicles are a popular choice among car and commercial vehicle enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.
JMC’s current offering in Bahrain includes pickups, cargo and passenger vans, minibuses and six-wheel trucks, which can be configured to meet a range of commercial requirements.
The highlight of the evening was the official unveiling of the all-new JMC Vigus pickup, reflecting a bold evolution in design, capability and comfort.
The latest Vigus features a completely redesigned front and rear exterior, delivering a more modern and premium road presence. Compared to the previous generation, the new Vigus is larger in overall dimensions, offers improved payload capacity and delivers enhanced driving comfort. It is available in 2.5 litre turbo diesel and 2.0 litre petrol engine options, paired with manual or automatic transmissions, delivering a strong and responsive performance for daily use.
