WORKS Minister Ibrahim Al Hawaj took part in the 11th Dubai Global Project Management Forum, which reviewed international best practices and innovative approaches in project management, including sustainability and the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence.
On the sidelines of the forum, the minister met with Hanny Al Shazly, managing director of the Project Management Institute for the Middle East and North Africa, to discuss strengthening co-operation and exchanging expertise to enhance the efficiency of development and infrastructure projects in Bahrain.
The minister noted the Works Ministry’s longstanding partnership with the institute in training national engineering cadres and supporting professional certification, and reviewed opportunities for future co-operation under the existing memorandum of understanding.
