Leaders from Bahrain and several countries have received a letter inviting them to join a US-led Board of Peace initiative that will initially aim to end conflict in Gaza but then be expanded to tackle conflicts elsewhere.
Confirming that it had received the invitation, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry yesterday expressed appreciation for US President Donald Trump’s efforts to bring about a just and lasting peace in the region .
