Bahrain and the US have signed a statement of co-operation aimed at strengthening bilateral efforts to combat the illicit trafficking of cultural property. The statement was signed at the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Manama by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and US Under-Secretary of State for Political Affairs Allison Hooker .
