MPs are pushing for the full legal recognition of electronic traffic documents so that motorists will no longer have to carry paper copies of driving licences, vehicle registration cards or insurance details.
The proposal, by five MPs led by MP Dr Abdulhakim Al Sheno, has been unanimously approved and referred to the Cabinet for review .
