A modern Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) military facility has been inaugurated.
The inaugurations, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, coincides with celebrations marking the 58th anniversary of the BDF.
It was attended by BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, who unveiled the commemorative plaque marking the opening of the facility.
He then conducted an inspection tour of the facility’s departments, amenities and equipment.
Lt Gen Al Nuaimi affirmed that the BDF continues to advance its units with the latest military systems under the patronage of His Majesty, the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, and the directives of its Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
Senior officers attended the ceremony.
