The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on Bahrain and other GCC countries, calling them a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability and violates international law and the principles of good neighbourliness.
It stressed that targeting civilian buildings and endangering citizens and residents is a direct attack on Bahrain’s sovereignty and national security and a clear violation of international norms protecting civilians.
The BJA commended the measures undertaken by Bahraini authorities to ensure the safety of citizens and residents, maintain social stability, protect lives, and safeguard public and private property, noting that these actions reflect a high level of preparedness, efficiency, and national responsibility.
