Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the availability of a limited number of flights operating from King Fahad International Airport in Dammam (DMM) and London Heathrow, United Kingdom (LHR), Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, Republic of India (BOM), and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand (BKK) starting from 11 March 2026, providing passengers with an opportunity to travel during the temporary closure of Bahrain’s airspace.
These flights are exclusively available to passengers who meet the eligibility requirements to enter or depart the Kingdom of Bahrain and can be booked through a dedicated registration link provided by Gulf Air, where eligible passengers can submit their travel details and request a confirmed booking.
Starting from 11 March 2026, Gulf Air will operate the following services:
Dammam (DMM) – London Heathrow (LHR) – Dammam (DMM)
Dammam (DMM) – Mumbai (BOM) – Dammam (DMM)
Dammam (DMM) – Bangkok (BKK) – Dammam (DMM)

Transportation between Bahrain and Dammam will be arranged by Gulf Air for passengers holding confirmed bookings. Passengers are kindly requested not to proceed to their departure station unless they have received confirmation of their booking.
Flights to and from Bahrain remain temporarily suspended and Gulf Air will resume regular operations once the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs confirms the safe reopening of the Kingdom’s airspace.
